Celebrate: Cinco de Mayo

Celebrate: Cinco de Mayo

If you're heading out for tacos and tequila this Cinco de Mayo, consider hitting up these caliente New York spots for the best guac in town.

Tacombi - NoLita

267 Elizabeth Street, NY 10012

Conveniently located down the street from our flagship store on Prince Street, Tacombi is always a good idea. The only thing better than the barbacoa taco is their corn esquites - the deliciously cheesy street corn you never knew you needed. Until now.

La Esquina - Upper East Side

1402 2nd Avenue - NY, 10021

A NYC staple with multiple locations, La Esquina is the perfect setting for that Insta-worthy marg. They have an impressive list of sourced tequilas, along with unique cocktails. We recommend the Pepino Diablo or the Hibiscus Mojito.

 Street Taco - Gramercy

258 Third Avenue - NY, 10016

This Gramercy restaurant is the midtown hub for delicious tacos, pitchers of signature sangrias, and build-your-own nachos. They even offer a frozen pitcher fittingly called the Tsunami: classic margarita and red sangria swirled together. Don't worry, they have an epic hangover brunch burrito to cure you the next morning.

Tijuana Picnic - Lower East Side

151 Essex Street - NY, 10002

This split level spot is anything but boring - offering 12 unique margarita cocktails and sharable appetizers, this place is a party! We suggest trying the Mexican Moon Party (tequila, basil, pineapple, and lime) paired with the mushroom and goat cheese tacos. YUM!
