Ramy's Tips on Entertaining for the Holidays

Ramy shares her tips on hosting the best holiday party of the season.

Hosting for the holidays can be a stressful feat; luckily, Ramy has provided us with a foolproof list of hosting tips to make your party the event of the season. With this guide, you’ll spend less time stressing and more time celebrating what really matters: time with friends and family.

1. Start planning early

There's nothing worse than running around last minute on the day of your holiday party. Make sure to plan at least a week in advance - the menu, the decorations, gifts and the playlist. Prepping will make the day feel less chaotic.

2. Stick to a color scheme

It's easy to get excited about decorations - there is so much to choose from and it's the only time of year to go all out in holiday glam! However, it's best to stick to one color scheme. Single out bold metallics, burgundies, forest greens or blues. This will ensure your home feels cohesive and doesn't look all over the place!

3. Wear something special and comfortable

As the hostess, it's important to feel great, which means wearing something that turns heads while feeling comfortable. Try our Becca Dress - the lightweight Japanese-tech material is so soft, and the color is the perfect pop of magenta to really wow your guests.

4. Stock up on the essentials

A fully stocked bar and kitchen will always make your guests feel welcomed. While you may have a lot of leftovers, it's better to have more than less. Plus, you can always re-use supplies for your next party!

5. Fill your home with seasonal scents

Ramy loves filling her apartment with seasonal scents of pine, vanilla, wood and spices. Beautiful scents can top off the mood and create a cozy environment.

6. Take a lot of pictures

The holidays are such a special time of year - it's not everyday you have all of your friends and family in one room. Be sure to capture the moments - we love a silly photo opp!

7. Enjoy yourself!

It's easy to get caught up in the stresses of hosting and forget to enjoy yourself. Take a moment to remind yourself to relax and enjoy the celebrations!
